Course Overview
Quint's two-day ISO20000 Auditor Course, an interactive training program on auditing and organizational improvement, is designed for anyone interested in learning how to conduct the ISO20000 process audit. Participants will learn how to conduct ISO20000 process audits on their own IT organization as well as provide knowledge support.

The ISO20000 is the first worldwide quality standard specifically aimed at Information Technology (IT) Service Management. It provides for an integrated set of processes and management approach for the effective delivery of services to the internal or external customer(s) of an organization.

Objectives

  • Recognize and understand the key concepts of ISO20000.
  • Ensure participants pass the itSMF exam and obtain itSMF ISO20000 Auditors Certification.
  • Understand the working of the ISO20000 processes and the potential contributions i.e., increased manageability of an organization’s service and infrastructure through IT.
  • Identify bottlenecks on process control and provide positive remedial action.

Target Audience
The ISO20000 Auditor Course is developed for organization with employees involved in IT auditing, quality assurance or quality management within IT organizations. They are expected to have extensive experience in auditing as well as knowledgeable in both quality management methodologies and ITIL® (Foundation Certificate).

Duration
The training is conducted over two 8-hour days of combined theoretical and practical hands-on sessions.

Prerequisites

  • Attended the "ITIL Foundations" course and obtained the Foundation Certification.
  • Holding certification for ISO9000, BS7799, and/or an internal audit paper.
  • At least three years of general IT auditing experience.
