Quint in 1st itSMF Hellas conference, Athens Nov '08
In line with Quint’s contributions to itSMF globally, Quint Wellington Redwood Hellas participates in the 1st itSMF conference in Greece organized by the local itSMF chapter. The conference theme is “IT Service Management: from theory to practice” and Quint will deliver an insightful, pragmatic speech on ISO20000 standard for the first time in the Greek market, with subject “ISO/IEC20000: How to elicit “certifiable” added value from the IT Service Management quality standard”.
Some people fear this to be another bureaucratic nightmare that will deliver no value. But when planned and applied properly it can indeed add substantial value for various types of businesses, especially in information intensive industries. Based on Quint’s proven global expertise this presentation will discuss what ISO20K is all about, will clarify the usual myths and truths between ISO20K and ITIL, will explain where and when it can add tangible value to an organization and will also give hints on effective implementation and successful certification. A real life case study of an ISO20K certified IT organization will be finally presented and discussed.
Quint’s speaker will be Nikitas Despotidis, Managing Director Quint Hellas.
