Our client, an international governmental organization, provides printed data to professional users i.e. banks and other governments. The client wanted to provide more newsworthy, consistent and high-quality information. In the past they printed yearly reports, but the electronic highway is taking over this facility. The goal of our client was a high quality Internet representation that fully satisfies user requirements.
Solutions
Quint performed an analysis and recommended to implement specific goals for their website. Based on the SITEffects® method, Quint created an effective strategy for their e-business channel. The second step was to implement an auditing board to manage and align the changes in the content of the website related to the goals. The third action, of the advised strategy, was to improve the support organization by implementing process management.
Results
This approach resulted in a strong increase of visitors to the website. Due to the quality of the structure and the content of the website, the number of support requests decreased by 39%. Based on these results the client is to forecast when the printed books are not necessary anymore.
