Royal Dutch Shell selects Quint Wellington Redwood as worldwide partner for ITIL v3 education

Royal Dutch Shell plc has selected Quint Wellington Redwood as its partner for ITIL version 3 education. The coming three years Quint will supply ITIL courses worldwide for Shell employees.
TrainingTarget staff within the Shell organization includes IT Business Interface staff; operational IT staff; team leaders in operations management roles; IT service managers and IT process owners. Quint offers the Intermediate, Expert and Master modules of ITIL v3 and the Bridging modules between ITIL v2 and v3. One of the reasons Royal Dutch Shell plc has chosen Quint is the capability to offer training worldwide in different learning types, deploying local staff. Learning types include open enrollments, classroom based, virtual and e-learning.

Sourcing Governance Foundation acknowledged by IAOP

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has incorporated Quint Wellington Redwood’s Sourcing Governance Foundation-training in its worldwide program for Certified Outsourcing Professional®. As a result, participants of IAOP’s COP program will receive 25 study points for completing the Quint training.

CIO Leiv Engelschiøn shares ITIL success story in Oslo On the 3rd of March 2010 Leiv Engelschiøn, CIO of Statsbygg[1], will share his experiences on the extensive IT professionalization project he managed at Statsbygg with the audience of the itSMF Konferansen 2010. Amsterdam, The Netherlands: Quint Wellington Redwood has developed and released a new e-Learning courseware – ITIL V3 Foundation Bridge. The e-Learning courseware is now available online.
Quint’s ITIL V3 Foundation Bridge e-Learning is designed to suit the needs of those who already have ITIL V2 certification and would like to enhance their knowledge in the latest version of ITIL, which is ITIL V3. The Bridge course enables customers to grasp the important concepts and principles in ITIL V3 which were not available in ITIL V2. Here, the similarities and differences between the two versions can be easily identified and learned.
The new e-Learning courseware combines the best of online interactivity and engaging course design by employing sound instructional strategy and multimedia elements, practices and quizzes to provide an easy way for course participants to learn ITIL, and eventually gain ITIL V3 Foundation Bridge certification.
