Equens selects Fujitsu as outsourcing partner in European infrastructure

Fujitsu Services (www.fujitsu.com), a leading European IT-services partner, has contracted Equens (www.equens.com), one of the biggest and most innovative payments processors in Europe. This agreement is of great importance for Fujitsu and encloses the control of the essential infrastructure as well as the realisation of some application hosting projects. The agreement has a duration of three and a half years.The new infrastructure offers Equens the opportunity to double the amount of transactions in the following years up to 4 billion transactions a year. 

The outsourcing agreement is realized by the interference of management consulting firm Quint Wellington Redwood.
