We have all come across many instances where although the technical work was done excellently, because of improper understanding and management of stakeholders’ expectations, projects failed and customers were dissatisfied.
That is why successful Stakeholder Management is critical to the success of the organization. Improper stakeholder management not only impacts the growth of the organization, the relationships with customers, vendors, and team members, but in many cases also impacts the career growth of individuals.
To be successful in stakeholder management, trivial as it may sound, it is critical to first correctly define who a stakeholder is because an incomplete or improper definition can result in missing key stakeholders. We need to be able to understand both their spoken and unspoken expectations so that we can manage them. We need to be able to prioritize and classify stakeholders so that we use the appropriate expectation management strategy and provide the relevant amount of attention and action for each stakeholder.
Successful stakeholder management is a win-win-win-win-win situation – for clients, for the organization, for vendors, for the team, and for the individual.
In this webinar we will discuss:
Who is a Stakeholder?
Who are the stakeholders for the project?
What category does each stakeholder fall into?
What priority do we give each stakeholder?
How to understand the expectations of each stakeholder (spoken and unspoken)?
How do we manage the expectations of each stakeholder?
